Features of the STREAM Hydrokinetic Power Generation System
SMALL HYDRO STREAM:Drop In and Generate Electricity
"SMALL HYDRO STREAM" Hydrokinetic Generators are complete
hydropower systems.
Turbines and Generators are integrated into a single unit t
hat provides power in rated capacities of 500W to 10KW.
Larger capacity generation can be customized.
STREAM’s patented technology does away with large-scale construction
"SMALL HYDRO STREAM" Generators compare favorably to other
very low head technologies and do not require custom site
construction.
STREAM generators are designed to install directly into
the built environment.
"SMALL HYDRO STREAM" Systems are designed to operate in a broad range of conditions
The STREAM turbine enclosure channels and accelerates
water current to strike only the leading edges of
the dual axis turbines, reducing friction and turbulence.
Accelerating gears multiply rotation speed to the generators.
These innovations yield hydropower in low head conditions
without the need for dam or penstock construction.
Water Treatment, Sewage Treatment, Thermal Power Plants
Recapture spent energy, return recovered electricity directly into facility or to the grid
Industrial Water Usage
Retrofit existing Industrial Processes; build in Energy Efficiency and Sustainability
Agricultural Waterways, Natural and Engineered Waterways
Hydropower with minimal infrastructure build-out
Off-Grid, Distributed Generation
Generate electricity without hydrocarbons in rural areas and Off-Grid infrastructure
Installation Example, Akita Pref., Japan
Omono River, Akita Prefecture:
8KW STREAM Generator installed for Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism
This 8KW rated installation currently provides power for
an office of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure,
Transport and Tourism,
and serves as a demonstration facility of the STREAM
Generator system.
Please see the Installations Example Page for more
information and video.
