Conventional hydro-power refers to conversion of energy brought about by building of dams, where difference of the water level (head) energy is utilized. However,substantial amount of energy also exists in mass movement of water in rivers and waterways. Furthermore, water (sewage and industrial water) that is collected using precious conventional energy are simply discharged and into the river through industrial waterways, wasting enormous amount of energy.
After extensive research and development in the field of mass movement of stream/river waters , we are in development of “Stream.” Our system accelerates the flow of water traveling into a wide inlet, finds sudden passage contraction at the outlet, where the flow is pressurized by this artificial head and the mass movement of water is concentrated, hence increases flow speed/hydro energy when it reaches the blades connected to the turbine vis-à-vis efficiently generating electricity.

Compared to water energy upriver where dams are usually sited, lower reaches provide greater energy from movement of water mass (though the speed is slower). Our proposal is to construct hydro power plant down stream. We can minimize destruction of natural landscapes that building dams causes, while protecting the surrounding ecology system. We save costs in reducing wiring power lines from upstream to the populated downstream. We simply bring power generation plant closer to where the power usage occurs, without drastically altering the nature environment. Just utilize energy from a water flow of rivers that have been there before our time.
Boats of all sizes sail in water where immense water energy resides, and for this obvious reason, we propose to apply “Stream” small hydro turbine system onto boats . By additionally installing solar panels on their decks, PV energy enable boats to propel forward even in still water, while simultaneously generating electricity from energy propelled into the turbine system. It revolutionizes the water transportation system, hence bringing to the world an eco-friendly logistic system.
